amazing church, only church that i have seen that includes teens in things. i'm a teen and love the coffee shop.

How long have you been in business?
The church started in 2007. We began as a tiny group in the upstairs gym of the YMCA and have grown to what we are from that. .
What is your primary product or service?
Restoring Hope is a church, but one that is especially well known for being a place people can come to if they do not have a church background, have been hurt in another church, etc. We don't dumb down our beliefs, but we work very hard at making them easy to understand and try not assume knowledge or use tons of "church words."
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started sensing I should be a pastor as a young child., After completing my undergrad degree I joined the military for a time and during that time became sure I should be a pastor. After completing my time in the military I entered a seminary and now 25 years later I am still a pastor.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I almost always hear that people can understand what we are doing and why we do it when they come to church. I also hear how the environment was not scary and felt more like a coffee shop than an old fashioned church with tons of "secret rules" or "unstated norms." In other words, guests tell us it was easy to come and worship and they did not feel they needed to known how we do things as we always explain things as go.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We meet at 1110 E. Fillmore. We do plan to add other locations over time, but for now that is our key point of emphasis.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Our church is actually a smaller strip mall. That is quite literal since before we moved in it was literally a strip club. It is located behind Wendy's at 1110 E. Fillmore St., CS/CO 80907. That is about 3/4 of a mile each of Nevada and Fillmore. It is about 1/2 way between Institute and Hancock and is located on the North side of Fillmore. It should be noted that Wendy's partially blocks our building view from Fillmore so look for Wendy's.
What type of payments do you accept?
We don't charge for anything we do, but if someone wants to donate something we take cash and checks as gifts and we take credit cards online.
Which areas do you service?
We have people that drive quite a distance as they say the drive is "worth it." However, our biggest thrust in the "Central Springs" area in terms of location.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a 501 C incorporated non-profit so none of us "own" the ministry. We have many people who handle various ministries, etc. However, Doug Anderson is the pastor.
What are your hours of operation?
Our main worship service is at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. We also have a variety of activities during the week. Biker Church borrows our building on Saturday nights and they hold a service at 6:30 PM.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
They felt safe and relaxed, had fun, understood what was taught and found it practical and helpful.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
