Revival is America's only hope. Our calling is to "Become the revival we're praying for."
Rise Church is a community of Colorado families dedicated to the revival of the church in America. We are driven by the desire to worship God, share the gospel, create Christian community, plant multiplying churches, and disciple non-believers toward God. God is moving powerfully in America and in Colorado Springs, and we want to take part in the miraculous harvest that is awaiting this generation. It will be the ready and willing who change this country. Americans who fight through prayer, evangelism and ministering to those in need of God's love are advancing that cause right now. Men and women of God are rising to influential places in their communities and this country. Humble ourselves and let God help us rise up!

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
New Church established in December of 2015.
What is your primary product or service?
As a Evangelical, non-denominational church we focus on teaching Bible principles, encouraging and coaching believers to live fulfilling lives in accordance with Bible principles and on leading others to follow Christ as well. We aim to replicate new church starts about twice per year, serve by praying for our country and for individuals, worship God with all our strength and become adept at telling others and inviting them to follow Christ.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Peter and his wife married to be partners in ministry, serving first in church planting in Pueblo and then working as missionaries in Egypt and Tunisia. They have worked in-country to restore Christianity and constitutional government to America for the past twenty years through small groups, volunteering for candidates and intercessory prayer. After attending Western Bible College and Colorado Christian University in the Denver area Peter now pursues his Masters of Ministry at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Peter has worked with 5 different church plants over the years with Vineyard Churches and has started Rise Church in Colorado Springs to multiply their vision exponentially.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We look for the revival of our country and are led to participate in it in every way we can. We love the Church in America and pray for pastors to boldly teach Biblical principles including repentance and salvation and then teach ongoing righteousness. We are committed to doing so. Many churches intend to multiply by planting other churches but somehow don't get around to it. We are committed to doing so. Others, if they have a missions program/focus on international ministry and evangelism but our focus in on evangelism right here at home. We see churches filled with gifted young people desiring a place in full time ministry but find their existing church is already overstaffed. We aim to facilitate church multiplication, resist the "clubbiness" of the leadership group and ignite the ministries of the called. We are not competing with any other church for members but aim to grow the church overall through evangelism and revival.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Rise Church has only one location today but our next plant is already planned. We aim to multiply every six months as God brings gifted leadership to us. Each location will be near its pastor's home and will initially serve their immediate neighborhoods.

Which areas do you service?
We are located just North of the geographic center of Colorado Springs at North Academy and Union Blvds. While it is not uncommon for people to drive across town to attend the church whose vision they share, and while we rejoice in it, our surrounding neighborhoods will see us most often doing youth events, movie nights, Crayon clubs, prayers meetings and service outreaches. Welcome to all!
What are your hours of operation?
Sunday morning worship service is from 9am to 10:30am. Come early for coffee and calories! After family worship the Outsiders youth group and the Crayon Club children's ministry are dismissed for their own time of teaching and fellowship.
Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 is praise and worship and prayer for our country and for individual needs.
Nearly every weekend we have a youth or kids night and an outreach to the community. Check http://www.risechurchcs.org for calendar updates and events!
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Our greatest satisfaction is when someone turns their life over to Christ and begins the journey of faith! We are blessed even more when they tell two friends who follow their lead, and so on!
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
II Chronicles 7:14 is particularly inspiring because it is God's promise to respond to His people if we will merely turn to Him with all our strength again. We look to God to rescue our nation, not people or politicians, and the Bible is clear about how that can happen here.
